Kathy Van Tassell (KVT as she is known by her Disney family and close friends) has been in this business for a long time.
Her career started in 1983 with the Disney University, where she learned the fundamentals of design, development and visual storytelling. For over 40 years, she's cultivated this talent as a seasoned facilitator, graphic designer and dynamic force of nature.
The details of a legendary career.
With over 20+ years of Disney experience, Kathy comes with a diverse portfolio of experience including Disney University, Human Resources, Disney Vacation Club and Disney Institute. She has led diverse work teams in the areas of performance consulting, stand-up facilitation and content design and development.
Kathy was the Director of Training for Arnold Palmer Golf Management, where she was responsible for the creation, design, development and implementation of all training and culturally related systems and processes for a new, entrepreneurial organization consisting of 22 managed golf courses across the United States.
In her work with the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, she led a team that strengthened nonprofit organizations by introducing basic business concepts, such as mission, values, product, leadership and accountability.
In 2006, she became the Director of Workforce Learning for Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA., where she was responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy for all training and organizational development programs, processes and initiatives.
As a lifelong entrepreneur, Kathy has run several successful training and organizational consulting companies through the years, proving that boutique businesses can often provide more personal and impactful results.
